lucia murdock, owner and general manager
Lucia Murdock is the proud recipient of the 2024 Woman of the Year award from the South Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and a passionate supporter of community engagement through the arts.
Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Lucia brought her rich cultural background to Salt Lake City. With extensive experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, and gallery and museum operations, she has spent the last five years leading Workshop SLC, a prominent art school and creative hub in South Salt Lake.
Beyond the walls of Workshop SLC, Lucia is actively engaged in providing access to art across underserved communities in the Salt Lake Valley. Through partnerships with organizations like Promise South Salt Lake, United Way, and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, she is working to ensure that art remains accessible to all. Lucia also serves on the South Salt Lake Women in Business Committee and is a board member of various non-profits.
