WHAT TO EXPECT
Each week students will build upon their current skills while learning with hands on practice while creating a variety of paintings. Expand your understanding of oil painting through selected subject matter that will encourage the development of your own personal artistry. Students will have the option to work on a variety of single week or multi-week painting while receiving direction from a Staff Instructor.
All skill levels are welcome, basic drawing/painting experience is encouraged but not required.

About the Instructor
Kendyl Schofield is a visual artist based in Salt Lake City, Utah, working primarily in oil paint. She earned her BFA with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing from the University of Utah in 2020.
Her recent studio practice has focused on Utah landscapes, plein-air studies and animals. In a classroom setting Kendyl strives to support the artist inside everyone and foster creativity while being a resource for both technical and creative development.
Outside of the studio Kendyl enjoys spending time with DIY home renovation projects and getting away to camp/travel with her partner and dog as much as possible.
