WHAT TO EXPECT

Don’t miss out on this is wonderful opportunity to take part in a unique pairing of skill-building workshops! Three weeks of Organic Sketching plus 3 weeks of Art Foundations make for a fun and complete start or amazing addition for artists of any level!

This pencil-only exploration takes you through basic organic methods of sketching and thinking, developing comfortable and practical techniques and includes exercises which will make sketching your favorite thing ever! Then it moves on to technical skills such as Basic Perspectives, Shading and Tone, and Basic Composition.

This 6-week workshop is full of original creative techniques, vital skills, and life-art lessons which were developed by and are taught by professional artist/Art Instructor Chris Maggio.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Our Figure Drawing Instructor, Chris Maggio, formerly taught college-level figure drawing, among other courses. He is a Medical Illustrator by degree, as well as a concept artist, architectural illustrator/designer, product designer, cartoonist, painter, master sketch artist, and draftsman/engineer. His personal favorite creative genre is anything nautical.
