Class description
All skill levels are welcome. Whether you haven't' picked up a paint brush (much less a roller!) since kindergarten, to those who hold a Fine Arts Degree who simply wish to create movement and infuse something new into their existing practice.
Fearless Abstract Painting is a combination of unorthodox tools and techniques so essentially, everyone is a beginner.
Please be aware that this is not a "paint-by-number" class. There will not be a painting at the front of the classroom for you to copy. I will encourage you to indulge your own "artistic urges" to create something original and unique to you. My goal is to empower artists and help them recognize and share their unique voice on the canvas.
We paint using acrylic paint. I believe acrylic paint is easier for beginners to handle for 3 reasons:
1. Fast: Acrylics dry fast. This means you can add depth and complexity to your painting by adding layers much faster than other mediums like oil or watercolor.
2. Forgiving: Acrylics allow you to change your mind. If you think you might have "created evidence that you suck" on your canvas, you certainly don't have to stay parked there. Acrylics allow you to make changes to color, composition and texture over and over and over again. The possibilities are seemingly endless!
3. Versatile: Acrylics play well with others. They combine well with all kinds of texture mediums, including collage, pen and ink, watercolor, etc. They are perfect for experimenting and finding unique ways to make your mark.

Additional Information
My art classes are on-going throughout the year. Monthly tuition is paid the last week of each month for the next month. Your tuition guarantees your space in the scheduled class for the entire month. If you don't pay your tuition on time, your place in class may be reassigned to a new student.
Please arrive on time. We will start promptly at 6 pm. You may show up 10 - 15 mins early to grab your spot & get set up if you like.
The supplies included are there to use & share for the duration of the workshop. You will NOT take them with you at the end of the day. Your 2 canvases are yours to keep.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Non refundable. Non transferable. If you cannot attend the class for any reason, you may not "carry over" the class into the next month. Thank you for your understanding.
