Workshop description
Want to try painting your pet from photo reference? Then this class is for you. Jim will demonstrate his approach to both and guide you as you paint your pet!
Painting convincing hair or fur often presents difficulty for the student painter. Learn how to create the illusion of soft hair that avoids hyperrealism or the dreaded "spaghetti" look.
Each day, Jim will quickly demonstrate, in stages, his failsafe method for capturing a vivid, convincing likeness. After the demos, he will help students as they tackle their specific challenges while painting their preferred pet.
